c-UAS

Counter-UAS is where the Kingdom fixes the arithmetic of meeting $30,000 threats with $12 million interceptors, and where end-user demand is loudest today.

c-UAS

Aerial threat defeat at scale is the most immediate and most validated demand signal in the Kingdom. Three years of engagements proved that the ability to intercept is necessary but no longer sufficient; intercept efficiency and cost-per-effect now decide who can sustain a defense. MASNA targets counter-UAS systems that drive the current 400:1 interceptor-to-threat inversion toward a sustainable floor of 3:1 or better, built in-Kingdom and free of foreign release authority. It is the focus area with the shortest procurement cycle and the fastest path to a first purchase order.

The Opportunity. The future of air defense is layered, attritable, and economically rational. Exquisite interceptors stay essential at the top of the stack, but the volume layer beneath them, the cheap effectors that defeat cheap threats, is where sustained conflict is actually decided, and where the Kingdom carries acute exposure across more than 43 critical national assets.

Where it is going. Drone-on-drone interceptors, directed energy, and RF defeat fused by AI targeting, with innovation cycles measured in weeks rather than years.

Why Saudi Arabia. Iranian and Houthi UAS vectors were confirmed in March 2026 combat, and the assets at risk, from Aramco terminals to desalination and ports, are the engine of Vision 2030.

Where the alpha is. Counter-UAS is a recurring-consumption category, not one-time capex, with demand already signaled and the shortest line of sight to early revenue and follow-on orders.
